Munay Coffee was created in 2015 with it's first store adjacent to the oldest church in Ecuador located in the Andes at an the altitude of  10,500 feet. The colonial building was built in 1524 in the ancient city of Liribamba, the place of origin of what is now called Ecuador.
Munay is an inspiration from a dreamer who immigrated to the United States in 1996 and worked in coffee shops in New York City. He developed a special interest in high-quality coffee and had the opportunity to attend countless conventions and taste various types of coffee from different countries in Africa and America. He then realized that the quality and aroma of the Ecuadorian coffee was incomparable, and took the initiative to start Munay Coffee as a tribute to his nationality.

 

We use state-of-the-art technology combined with the high altitude roasting cannot be easily reproduced anywhere in the world. Munay has managed to offer a new farm to cup experience.

Finally, and perhaps the characteristic that most contributes to the development of our perfect aroma, are the benefits of roasting our beans at an altitude of 10,500 feet. This allows us to reach the ideal roast in less time, with the use of less heat, thus preserving the intensity of flavor and reducing aftertaste.
